Product Assurance Learning
Product Assurance Learning

Learn the rules of the EU market before your product gets there.

Practical training on CE marking and EU product regulations for manufacturers and exporters outside Europe, built by engineers who assess products for the European market.

First course

CE Marking Fundamentals

How the EU single market works for products, and what you must do before the first unit ships.

  • Identify which EU directives and regulations apply to a product
  • Choose a conformity assessment route and know when a notified body is needed
  • Prepare the technical documentation and the EU Declaration of Conformity
  • Set up importers, authorised representatives and labelling before shipping
The CE path

Six steps from design to the EU market

Every course follows this sequence, so you always know where you are.

  1. Identify the legislation

Find every directive and regulation that applies to your product.

  2. Apply harmonised standards

Choose the standards that give presumption of conformity.

  3. Assess and reduce risk

Analyse hazards, design them out, then verify.

  4. Choose the conformity route

Self-declaration or a notified body, depending on product and law.

  5. Compile the technical file

Evidence, test reports and the EU Declaration of Conformity.

  6. Affix CE and ship

Marking, instructions and the right economic operators in the EU.

Built for exporters

One market, explained from where you are

The EU rules are the same for everyone. What changes is the starting point, so each course compares the EU approach with the product rules you already work with.

United States

From OSHA, NFPA and NRTL listing to the EU self-declaration model. US teams often expect third-party listing for every product; in the EU many products follow a self-declaration route instead, backed by a technical file.

China

From CCC certification to CE marking. We cover what EU importers and buyers will ask for, and how to organise documentation that EU authorities can review.

Japan

From PSE and JIS to EU harmonised standards. Many JIS standards are aligned with IEC standards, which helps, but the EU legal framework and documentation work differently.

India

From BIS certification to the EU conformity assessment modules, with attention to the role of the EU importer or authorised representative.

Türkiye

Türkiye applies product legislation largely aligned with the EU and uses the CE marking. Courses go deeper on documentation, notified body work and market surveillance.
